A visit to zoo can be quite fun if
a) You are a kid, under 12 or something
b) You are an adult visiting the zoo after a very long time
c) You are very passionate about wild life
d) Photography is just your thing
I don’t belong to the any of the above four groups. However, I have been frequenting the zoos lately, thanks to my four year old. And I play my part perfectly, faking excitement and joy to match my little one’s. A visit to zoo can be quite tiresome, considering the distance you have to walk pushing the stroller that is loaded with water bottles, food packets and likewise, not to forget the blazing heat and your child’s occasional tantrums.
But yes, don’t the kids enjoy these visits ! The silly choo choo train ride , a round in the colorful carousel ,the adventurous encounters with the beasts , the spectacular display of birds , the wildflowers peeping out around every corner , the hot popcorn and the chilly drinks , the petting places , the funny animal shows;my baby enjoys just everything about the place.
I am not being a spoil sport or anything, but you know the whole process can be a little overwhelming for adults. But we have to play along anyway,do we have any other choice in this matter?Plus the joy of the kids can sometimes be infectious, it just lights up your heart!
Since I make it a point to click pictures every time we visit, my PC is full of ‘wildlife snaps’. Ah, if I was actually good at this and if I had a better camera, I could even have made a living out of this :P.
So yes, posting a few random pics from the zoo….just like that..!…
There are a lot more pics, may be I should post it here some other time….just so as to make something of them… 🙂
